The things we do for love

Yet another week has gone by without a post. I'm such a slacker. So what is happening in my life?

Gary starts his Chemo this week. I have cancelled my Bangor, Black Friday shopping trip and I have quit dancing for the rest of year. I was really looking forward to the trip and, as everyone knows, dancing is my passion. But I love Gary more than anything in the world and I want to be here for him.

Darrelyn has been home sick with an eye infection, two ear infections (both close to rupturing) and a throat infection. Thank God for "Banana Medicine"! I picked up her school work while volunteering yesterday and she got caught up yesterday afternoon. The teacher gave me everything up until Thursday. This is a good thing because Darrelyn was up again last night. She should be ready to go back to school tomorrow though.

Breanna has been reverting back to having accidents. I'm trying to discover what could be causing this. Its not all bad though. Her behaviour and manners are coming along quite nicely. Yesterday, she went to leave the dinner table, stopped, came back, sat down and asked to be excused. YAY!

Laundry is calling (or buzzing if you want to be literal) so that's it for today's update.

Still thinking lots about ya.

Are you guys having to come to Halifax for Gary's treatment?

That's awesome with Breanna's manners! Wowsers! Fantastic! As for the accidents... Just a thought for ya... hmmm... a certain someone is coming soon and the stores are already decorated. Perhaps? (:

Thanks guys!

Cyn, Gary was transferred to Saint John for the treatment. YAY!

He's also going to try and continue working, even if at home, during the treatment. Here's hoping.

Sorry that you are having to give up the things you love outside the home, however, keeping the things inside the home that you love is also vitally important. hopefully you can get back to those outside things sooner, rather than later.

Kudos for great parenting skills! Awesome to hear that she came abck to the table when she remembered, and that she rememered!

Hey Joanne. I just wanted to drop by and let you know I'm thinking of all of you. Hope everything is going well and gentle as can be for what it is.
