An afternoon off
The nanny that we had when I was working is going to be moving away and she was wondering if she could take the girls to Rockwood Park this afternoon. It took me about a split second before I said, "Sure!"
Another good thing is that I got my housework done this morning, so I don't even have to clean this afternoon. Wow an actual afternoon off.
I am now waiting for her to pick up the girls and then I am meeting Gary for lunch. Wow lunch, in a restaurant, with no children.

Awwww I felt a twinge in my heart reading this. It's so hard to leave little ones when a nanny position ends - especially when there's the likelihood they won't be seen again because of a move. Sigh. I miss all my babies from my nanny days!

The girls had a great day and the nanny said she'd like to take them out again next week. She really was wonderful with the girls and she even did my laundry sometimes ;)
